The types of hearing care professionals you might encounter in seeking help with your hearing loss differ in both their education and their skills.
Hearing experts have demonstrated knowledge of the human auditory and vestibular systems, and they have extensive training in sound reproduction.
From helping you protect your hearing to addressing hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance issues in some cases, only audiologists offer you complete value.

"Great experience! This was my first visit and from the moment I walked through the front door to the reception desk, I was greeted by the very personable and kind receptionist. Dr. Raup was excellent! He greeted me with a smile and was so personable throughout the visit. He made me feel comfortable and explained each test performed and the results thoroughly. He even provided a copy of the visit to provide to my primary doctor before I left. I would definitely recommend Dr. Raup and the Chesapeake Hearing Center!"

"Chesapeake Hearing Centers has been absolutely wonderful on my audiology journey! They are so quick about getting appointments schedule in a location and time that works with my schedule. Everyone I’ve ever spoken to has been incredibly kind and helpful. Dr. Raup has been great about follow up care and getting my hearing aid adjusted to my comfort and explaining how the app that goes along with it works in great detail. I definitely recommend them for your hearing needs!"
